Hallo Steven
This infection can be very dangerous if the little one contracts it, but since the diagnosis has been done your doctor will probable put her on profilactic antibiontics, but be prepared that your baby may spend a few days in the neonatal intensive care unit after birth, untill the infection cleared. Since it was diagnosed early the treatment should be effective and no need to worry.
Regards
welma
