Panax ginseng has blood sugar reducing effects so it may increase the effect of metformin, so check this with your practitioner. I would not recommend any other forms of ginseng, so if it does not specifically say Panax (Asian) ginseng it is probably best to not use if you are using cipramil and metformin.
