Hi All,

Received this mail this morning - thought it is a great idea thus here it is FYI:

Finally we have launched our new national website , which serve South Africa, Botswana and Namibia !
www dot petslostandfound dot co dot za With this site we strive to reunite lost pets and found pets with their owners in the shortest possible time.

We are extremely proud and passionate about this venture and hope to eventually have everybody know about this site.

Please assist us by visiting the site. You can print out our A4 size poster to put on the notice board in your office, clinic, shop, practice, office, local convenience store, vet's rooms, etc etc.

Free stickers for the back window of cars can be ordered by mailing us with your postal address.

We also have free little stickers the size of a credit card that you can order from us complete with a little display container to place on your reception counter.

We have seen many similar sites come and go, or fade into obscurity. As a site like this is expensive to design and expensive to promote, we are forced to charge a fee for lost pet listings, to make sure that we can keep on promoting the site. We are running a launch special and the first 25 listings are free of charge.

However, found pets can be listed free of charge and anyone are most welcome to list all and any "strays" that you have at any time.

We also have a facility where organisations, shelters and rescue societies may list their details completely free of charge. Where the facility exists on their sites, we do request that the favour is returned by placing our link on your site.

To make this site work, we need to get as many people as possible to know about the site. Please !! Forward the link to everyone in your address book. We also have a "Recommend this site" link in our main menu, which allows you to enter a person's e-mail address. We will then send them the link on your behalf.

Our best regards

Hans and Marita du Plessis

Thanks for listing this. JHopefully it will result in pets being reunited with their owners earlier.
