fungal skin infection

I need help knowing what precautions to take to avoid reinfection of a body skin infection.....is it enough to wash bedding and clothes in hot water then powder shoes and bedding. Also what is the risk of reinfection from carpets and how contagious are fungal infections ie can they be transferred from sitting on the same sofa, sharing a computer etc.

Dear Help
Fungi live in wet warm conditions, so the areas that they would be infectious in would be the bathroom, washing clothes and bedding in hot water and hanging it in the sun should kill any residual fungus. Wiping hard surfaces with something like Domestos disinfectant will kill the fungus and you can put antifungal powder like Mycota on carpets and sofas as needed - leave overnight and vacuum the next day. (Domestos may stain materials)
