Dear Bubu
Fresh vegetables and fruit have the highest nutrient content as you well know, but if the vegetables or fruit are transported for long period under less than optimal conditions (high temperatures, exposure to sunlight, etc) then using frozen vegetables and even canned fruit is a better option because more of the nutrients will be preserved in the latter products. Make sure you store the frozen vegetables properly (correct temperature and not longer than 3 months) and do not overcook them. You can do a Search on the DietDoc Website with 'Frozen vegetables' to read some of the articles on this subject.
