Our expert says:
If you go back to your dietitian and she puts you back on the low-GI diet which you know works really well for you, then you will not pick up the weight you have lost and you will continue losing like in the past. I am not in favour of low-carb diets. I know they produce rapid weight loss, but they are not healthy and can lead to a variety of complications (constipation, raised blood fats, deficiencies, bad breath, etc) and as you say, they are difficult to stick to. So return to your dietitian and use the low-GI balanced diet and do some exercise every day and you will lose your 19 kg.
