Is fraxel benifical for eye lines, and what is the downtime for this procedure for treatment for eye lines?

Hi Tracy, thank you for the question.

Fraxel can work extremely well for the lines around the eye area and one can expect to see improvement within 2 to 5 sessions depending on their depth, the age of the skin, and the degree of sun damage. Downtime varies from person to person and the settings used but as a general guideline downtime can last between 2 to 7 days. The downtime is usually minimal (one could go to work the next day) but occasionally swelling in this area may take a couple of days to subside. A good idea is to have the procedure performed on a Friday allowing you time to recover over the weekend. As with any technology results are operator dependent.
