Flushes while menstruating

I had an ablasion 4 years ago. For the last 6 months I have been having light periods every 2-3 weeks for 10 days at a time. Now I have started profuse sweating about twice daily. I never feel hot, but perspire suddenly and dramatically for half an hour then it goes away again. I am age 44. Do you think it is menopause? Is it adviseable to continue DHEA, which I am on for treatment of fibro? Thanks

It does sound like hot flushes due to menopause.
I cannot comment on the DHEA. You would have to discuss this with the doctor who prescribed it.

Best wishes
