I will recommend Frontline - It works like a bomb!

You can also try another product called Ultrum Ultimate, which is in a spray bottle (also from your vet) and you can wash your dog soon after application without reducing the effect. They also say that treatment should be repeated every month (and you can see the fleas fall off!).

At the same time you should make sure fleas in the home are killed too. Ask your vet about Ultrum Duration, which is an aerosol spray that you spray on carpets, cracks, etc where fleas hide. It immediately starts killing fleas so they can't jump back on your dog.

Hi,all vets stock it and it works like a bomb. i would use the ADVANTIX as you can never guarantee there are no ticks in your garden and biliary is a danger then. You need to preferably not bath your dog for 3 days before or after application and remember ADVANTIX toxic to cats.

Hi.............we live at the coast, and have a huge problem with fleas as well. I tried it all......and found that ADVANTAGE used properly is the best for fleas. It is an ampule of liquid applied between their shoulder blades. You go according to the weight of the dog or cat. A word of warning have to put it on your dogs every month on the same day, otherwise the fleas seem to be back in no time. ADVANTIX is for fleas and ticks..........hope this helps solve your problem.
