Eyedrops expiry date

Hi, I use quite a lot of eyedrops, because I have dry itchy eyes. I never use it up within the 30 days expriry days, and use for a time after that. Could it harm my eyes if I use eyedrops that are past the 30 days expiry date? Thanks

Dear Pamela
You should not use expired medication full stop. ( but it should still be effective and NOT harmful for a few weeks after the expiry date as long as it is not contaminated by infection.)
