Hi Peter
Quite good - if both of you have a recessive gene for blue there is a chance that the baby can have blue eyes. Very young babies can also have blue eyes that change colour as they grow older.

Hi Peter

There is a 1 in 4 possibility that a child from parents with brown eyes will have blue eyes, if both parents have a recessive blue gene. The child can receive both of the recessive genes from his parents and none of the dominant brown genes, making his eyes blue.
