Eye care against computer rays

Hello Doc, please does working with the computer for a minimum of 5 hours per day dangerous to the eyes? I have been having red and watery eyes lately does it have anything to do with computer exposure and what drugs and eye drops should i use?

Eustat, it is usually not so much the computer screen than staring at the screen and not blinking, that causes the problem. It might also be due to poor eye sight or dry eye syndrome. You can try something like Refresh® or Tears Naturale® for a week or so, but if it doesn’t improve the best would be to see your doctor or an ophthalmologist. Good luck.
