Extra virgin coconut oil

Hi
I have always heard that while nuts and nut oils are healthy, this excludes coconuts (and peanuts). I see that extra virgin coconut oil is being sold as the next weightloss/anti-aging/immune-boosting cure. Is there any truth to coconut oil's new status?
For cooking, is coconut oil actually healthier than olive oil or canola oil? And are EFAs from coconut "better" than EFAs obtained from fish, for example?
