excruciating cramps

6 weeks preg.excruciating cramps, lower abdomen I feel weak all the time and cant get any sleep at night. Why is the pain so bad and what could it be, my doc said everything is normal but im worried that something could be wrong.

yes slight pains\cramps are normal
but if it is as bad as you descride -get a second opionon for peace of mind!
Im no expert but it doesnt sound normal

If the pain is excruciating, it could be that the pregnancy is ectopic. It would be a good idea to ask the doctor to do a scan to determine whether the pregnancy is intra-uterine or not.
