EWCM

Hi Doc

Cervical mucus that is very fertile is referred to as Egg White Cervical Mucus...please help... i have also heard that it is white hard and sticky...when they refer to Egg White...do they mean an egg after being cooked or when it is raw...sorry if this sounds stupid...but i have as yet to experience see -through looking CM...!!!!
If you fall pregnant how does your Cm stay at that consistency?

Thanks

Dear Mercury

The reference is to the runny egg white in the raw state. Should you conceive, the cervical mucous becomes thick and impermeable.

fertile cervical mucous is the consistency of raw egg white. not having it does not mean you do not ovulate though, some woman just do not have that much mucous.
