Endometriosis can cause tubal damage and thus infertility. If your girlfriend is having pain during sex, this could be due to a recurrence or adhesions from surgery. It can occur at all ages.
There are a number of treatments, depending on the extent and site of the disease. These include surgery and medical. It is often not prermanently cured and there is a high incidence of recurrence.

Endometrioses is caused by stress.
It can be removed via an operation.
To have a healthy lifestyle and try to have less stress would be the first step in trying to fight endo.....
