Dear Reader
Unfortunately the wine making process involves the use of sulphur at a number of stages, e.g. the grapes are treated with sulphur to prevent oxidation and the barrels are cleaned with sulphur before the wine is stored in them. You will have to avoid wine and also all other sources of sulphur such as dried fruit, fruit juices preserved with sulphur dioxide, etc. Always check the labels of all processed foods and beverages that you eat and drink.
