eating plan

i need a eating (diet) plan that is low budget as in not expensive as i'm on a very tight budget.i'm doing cardio traning at the moment
so it needs to fit into that.

Do you need a general eating plan or a weight reduction diet or a diet for building muscles? I know this is vey boring but my fiance lost 3 kg in his first week and 1.5 after that with this plan. He was very commited and did not mind eating the same stuff.

1 weetbix and skim milk - breakfast
1 apple - snack
2 slices of toast (no butter) with half a tin of bake beans
1 fruit - snack
2-3 pilchards fish, 1 tomato, 1/2 cup brocolli, lettuce, cucumber

You can switch your bake beans and fish around if you wish.
