Eating according to blood type?

I've recently bought the book "Eat right for your type" recommending eating according to one's blood type, is this truely a healthy way of eating?

You should probably ask diet doc.

Personally I don't think its very healthy.

A healthy diet is one that encourages good portion control and eating from all five food groups everyday, concentrating on getting lots of fresh fruit and veg, some fish, dairy, nuts/pulses/grains, a little meat, and a very little fat.
