dyslexia desperation!

my 16 yr old son has mild to severe dyslexia. he has dropped out of school after grade 10 ex a technical school. (could not cope in grade 6 at the local academic school) we are desperate to find a dyslexia support group in/near capetown. can anyone help?
we have had numerous phsycometric tests done and all result in a consistent profile/preference as regards a future career. but being in possession of a grade 10 only, and given the difficulty facing non prev disadvantaged, his future looks very bleak. motor skills are above average (plays senior league cricket) but he is very depressed re his chances of obtaining grade 11 / 12

Call the Dept of Psychiatry at Stellenbosch Medical school, as they're supposed to maintain a centre with information about all such resources, nationally, and they ought to know if there is such a support group in your area. And apart from psychometric tests, has he seen a good local adlescent psychologist, for proper assessment and discussion of what might be done to help him perform better ?
