Durban AIDS Conference

A message for expert: has there been much info about male circumcision at the SA AIDS conference? There has been quite a lot of talk about this, in terms of reducing male HIV infection, so what's the latest? Is there a real case for circumcision? Thanks and best wishes.

Hi Duncan and thanks for posting.

Male circumcision was one of the significant themes at the conference and based on the papers presented there does seem to be a very significant case for suggesting that men undergo the snip. However circumcision doesn't diminish the need for safer sex.
