dog bites still bleeding

My dog was bitten by another dog about a week and a half ago, every time the wounds heal, he scratches them open again. should I consult a vet, does he need antibiotics or tetanus shots?

If the wounds are still having difficulty healing or is still bleeding or discharging, a visit to the vet is a good idea. Antibiotics is necessary for most bite wounds, to avoid abscesses and serious infection. Luckily, tetanus is quite uncommon, (although not impossible).
