Dear Rene
Croup is a viral infection of the voice box area and windpipe and is usually only found in kids. Adult croup is very rare as most people have resistance against the virus by the time they pass teenage years. Other conditions like a narrowing of the airways can sound like croup but is not necessarily real croup. "Shaking" is not a symptom of croup.
