Diabetes/insulin after meals

My boyfriend injects his insulin after meals instead of before meals. does this make any difference in his management of sugar levels?

Dear Romy
That would depend on the type of insulin he is using and what was prescribed for him by his dr. He needs to clarify this issue with the prescribing dr as it can make a difference depending on the type and dosage of insulin that has been prescribed.
