detox

i need to go on a good detox any ideas i was thinking of just eating fruits and drinking water for 2 days what u think

You can certainly try eating fruit and drinking water for 2 days to detox, but make sure that you do this over a weekend when you can rest and relax, because the detox may make you feel tired and dizzy. Don't try this when you need to go to work, drive a car or go to gym. Don't detox for longer than 2 days at a time either.

You don't NEED to detox, you might want to. There is NO support in scientific/medical literature (the peer reviewed type, not the glossy magazine type you buy at the news vendor) for any health benefits of occasional detoxing! The fact that it makes you feel good doesn’t mean it is. According to such an inductive argument heroin would be good for you too. What you NEED to do to best benefit your physical health is to engage in a sustained healthy eating and exercising routine.
