Hi, I have not changed my eating habits but recently have n oticed I am excessively thirsty. I am 48 years old, take a good amount of vitamins etc, 40mg Cilift daily but I have started suffering from dizziness, shortness of breath, nausea, headaches, insomnia thirst, confusion and shaking ( this has been ongoing for many years but is n ow more severe) At the age of 33 I had a hystroectomy but my ovaries were left in. Is this simply menopause - I have just bought a bunch of herbal remedies to see if I can balance things out. But I wake up every night because I am thirsty. I am also always tired. Your advice will be greatly apreciated, Monique

I suggest that you consult your GP for a thorough examination, as well as blood test to exclude any pathological reason for your symptoms. Your thyroid levels will also have to be checked and diabetes will have to be excluded.
