daschund dirty ears

Does one need to clean daschund dirty ears inside or is this normal. If needs cleaning what should one use.

All dogs can get ear problems, though dogs with droopy ears like daschunds are probably more susceptible.

Yes, you do need to clean them, as cybervet says - and you also need to know that if you' ve cleaned them as recommended for a couple of weeks and the ears remain dirty or smelly, then there' s a good chance that they are infected, possibly by mites, in which case a vet visit may be necessary. Ear problems can become chronic if not treated properly.
