Coxsackie virus vs H Pylori

Hi Doc

Dr thinks I could have H Pylori and is doing a gastroscopy next week Someone suggested it could be coxsackie virus... which do you think is more likely from symptoms below :
Nausea (not every day, most mornings wake up slight nausea, other days none at all and other days extremely nauseous)
Vomitting (only with extreme nausea as below)
Sore or heavy feeling legs (only some days)
Stomach cramps sometimes so sore I can''t move
Loose stool - sometimes passing 2-3 times a day
Diarreah (not every day)
Increased appetite and not always feeling satisfied
Bloating/increased weight
Increased pimples
Low or zero libido

Still going to check with my doc but would be interested in your opinion as I believe the coxsackie virus blood test is about R2500 so if it is not a possibilty I don''t want to waste my money as I am only on a hospital plan

Your symptoms are most probably due to a gastric ulcer. Coxsackie virus is not associated with a gastric ulcer but the H.Pylori bacteria is well documented to cause a gastric ulcer.
