Cortisone during pregnancy

My gynae is going to start me on cortisone injections from 28 weeks. Can you provide me with more information on the possible effects on baby and on me. I've surfed the net for information but can't really find anything. Thanks

I presume this is in anticipation of preterm labour. It is only two injections that you will have and, with one course, the side effects are minimal.

Best wishes
