Contraceptive query

Good day
I wonder if you can assist me?
I would like to know which contraceptive is safe to use in this case: I am 34, a non-smoker with no medical conditions.
I am getting divorced and do not want a sterlisation, as I might want another child in a year or so... also, how safe is having children at the age I am?
Kind Regards...:)

You could use the Pill, injectable or IUCD. Pregnancy over the age of 35 carries a slightly increased risk of Down syndrome.

Best wishes
