Contraception question

My baby is 6 months old and I recently weaned her off the breast. I am still breastfeeding her once a day though, the last feed of the day before she goes to sleep. Please advise whether I should stay on Microval or whether another contraceptive would be safer in this case?

You are protected by Microval whether or not you breastfeed, but not to the same extent as the combined Pill. If you wish to change methods, the combined Pill is likely to dry up your milk. The injectable would be an option.

Best wishes
