Concerned about electric blanket

Hi

I am about 6 weeks pregnant and fell asleep without switching of the electric blanket. I woke up later sweaty and very hot, will this have harmed the baby?

One episode would not harm the baby, but you should avoid this in future.

Best wishes

You can sleep with the electric blanket, but try to avoid it being so hot that you break out in a sweat. When I was pregnant my electric blanket was on every night, and I have a perfectly normal - very intelligent baby.
