Dear Oratile
Please be patient with your lassie. It will take time for her to get back to eating normally again. Many children also revert to earlier eating habits after being ill, esp after a bout of vomiting. She may only want to eat foods that she ate at an earlier stage of her development. Give her such foods and gently encourage her to return to her pre-illness eating habits. Don't make an issue out of her eating at present as this can discourage her from returning to normal eating. She will pick up the lost weight again in time. Even adults suffer from depressed appetite after such illnesses and need time to recover. Please also keep in mind that infants have a very small stomach capacity and need to have small portions of food and drinks more regularly than adults.
Best regards
