chemo for breast cancer

Am 46. Had a 1/4" cancerous tumor removed from my breast
1 1/2 months ago. Had total reconstruction. All ducts & lopes
were removed. One cancer cell was found. Chemo is
recommended. Is there a 20% chance that cancer will return?
Should xrays be taken every 3 months?
What other options are available instead of chemo?
Thank you.

Chemotherapy today has become quite specific, and has good results when used early. Naturopathically there are some treatments that can be used in conjunction to assist the body cope with the chemo, prevent weight loss, hair loss and other chemo complications, and to support as well as strengthen the body after the chemo. Other Naturopathic methods are more appropriate in prevention of cancer, prevention of metastases (spreading), or to control growth via stimulation of appropriate immune actions. I would suggest that you look into taking charge of the process and set up a team of experts around you to give you the best treatment, link up your oncologist, doctor and a naturopath to work as a team for your benefit. In cases such as cancer it is a perfect opportunity for the whole of medicine to work together for your benefit - each one has its own beneficial action but they must be used together appropriately. During chemo for instance it is best not to use certain vitamins, but it is then essential to use them after and inbetween. Remember that you are the center of your own health and that we are all here to be of service to you in a multi-disciplinary manner - if any naturopath or other practitioner wants to only work exclusively - they are not taking your best interests first.
