Chemical in milk

is it true that Fat Free and 2% milk are bad for you because to eliminate the fat in them they use bad chemicals that could be more harmful to your health than drinking full cream milk with a risk of gaining weight?

Dear Nicki
Relax! To remove fat from milk the processors use a perfectly harmless method called centrifugation. The milk is swirled around at a high speed and the fat separates out and is removed for making butter, while the fat-free milk is channelled into the bottles or cartons. It is not necessary to add any chemicals to remove the fat!
