Cervical Cancer

I would like to know how critical is cervical cancer when it's on stage one. Been diagnosed and the gynea said we have to wait and see what happens. Then on Feb. will have to perform the operation. The problem is, will I still be able to get children as I don't have right now?

Please help, I'm desperate.

Thanks
Tee

The usual treatment for Stage 1 cervical cancer is a hysterectomy. This means that you would not be able to have children. If left untreated, however, cervical cancer can spread to other organs which would be very serious.

Best wishes
