cerebellum

What is meant when you have an early atrophy of the 2 cerebral hemispheres and cerebellum. There are also small areas of ischaemia in the white matte of the centrum semi ovale. I had a TIA about 4 weeks ago. The MRI shows the above.

It is possible that you have had multiple TIA's in the past that is causing the atrophy of the brain. I recommend that you consult your neurologist for a full explanation, as he knows your case in more detail.
