careers?

What career options are available in the field of genetics? I know it's mostly lab work based, but I'm interested in working with people. Besides genetic counselling, are there other career opportunities where you could work with the patients themselves, maybe with diagnosis?

Dear Curious

Yes, you will have to become a clinical geneticist. Will have to do a medical degree first and then specialises in genetics.
