Baie dankie.

Yes, of course you can.

The "no carbs for dinner" myth is created by people who want to sell you theories and books to help with weight loss. The rationale was that if you didn't eat carbs after a certain time or for supper, then you'd be able to lose weight because you'd keep your appetite down and not crave anything later in the evening.

Physiologically, it's one of those "half-truths", where there is some truth but not a lot, and the reality is that your body doesn't care WHEN you eat, as long as your total energy intake is optimal for what you do during the day. So you don't have to cut out any particular type of food, as long as you are eating sensibly and not overdoing it. The type you eat is not going to swing your success.

Good luck

Carbs in the diet are a source of energy. In the evening our bodies relax and we don' t really require such a high source of energy at this time of eveing.
I personally only eat carbs during the day before 3pm. But don' t think you must cut out carbs in the eveing, just don' t over indulge...
