Calories : food vs exercise

Hi,can I please get your advise. If I eat a chocolate worth 400 calories, how many calories do I need to burn off in exercise to make up for the 400 calories that I ate?

Dear Ques
Theoretically you would need to burn 400 cal with exercise to counteract the 400 cal you ingested by eating that chocolate. However, exercise has the advantage that it also stimulates your metabolism for at least 24 hours after doing a strenuous session, so you will continue to burn up more energy for that 24 hour period.
