Calf Cramp

Hi

I have fairly well developed calves (muscularity & size) but when I do calf exercise It feels like they want to contract & cramp up into a tennis ball.

This has happened on occasions & the pain is terrible.
Any comments?

Hi CBC
Likelt to have latent compartment syndrome - the fascia sheath can not expand when your calf muscles get pumped with blood.
The best thing to do is to stretch them lots - are a trainer about both soleus and gastrocs stretches - if they look confused move on!
