C-section after a C-section

Hi! I had a baby girl in Sept last year (2006) and had an emergency c-section. Yesterday I found out that I'm pregnant again (!!!) for December. Someone told me that my uterus would not be able to cope with a pregnancy so soon again... should I be worried? And will I have to have a c-section again? My son was born naturally 9 years ago.

The time period of falling pregnant after a caesarean is not relevant. Whetehr you need another caeasraean or not will depend on a number of factors which can probably only be assessed later in the pregnancy.

Best wishes
