burn mark

Hi Doc, About a month ago I burnt the palm of my hand whilst cooking. It was not painful or anything and after a few days I had some raised skin which I removed. The first time I peeled of the skin the size was about 1cm but now it has grown to about 3cm. What should I do to stop it from growing further.

Dear Jack Welsh

Thank you for visiting health24.com.

Unfortunately, the skin will continue to peel off over the size of the burnt mark. You can use Bio-Oil to lessen the effect of the burn itself.

Kind regards
