Spotting before a period is a normal run up to a period for lots of women, and the spotting at the end is normal too - indicating the period dwindling and finishing. If you are having a normal 28 day cycle, you should be ovulating which means you should fall pregnant in time. Just remember it can take up to a year to fall pregnant.
