Brody's Disease

PLEASE COULD YOU TELL ME IF THERE IS ANYTHING THAT ONE CAN TAKE FOR BRODY'S DISEASE.
MY HUSBAND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH THIS DISEASE AND HE IS NOW 40 YEARS OLD.

This is a genetic ( hereditary) defect of the muscle cells and there is nothing you can take for it. Read more about this on http://www.muscle.ca/content/index.php?id=996
Brody's disease is a myotonic muscle disorder.
There is medication that can relieve the symptoms.
The best specialist to see for this will be a neurologist.
