Hi Blanche,

breast augmentation requires special techniques in mammography to demonstrate all breast tissue. make sure, that the person taking your mammogram is a certified mammographer, as these receive specific instruction in the certificate course on how to deal with augmented breasts. It also is a good start to have your mammogram taken at a place that does only breast imaging as you are more likely to find professionals there with a specific interest in breast health and equipped with the technical know-how to optimize your breast imaging.
Augmentation does not increase the chance of breast cancer.
