braintumor from rugby injury, how fatal?

My daughter of seventeen have asked me to look into brain tumors, a very close friend of hers had a very bad injury during a rugby match and has a brain tumor as a result thereof. We do not know what type of brain tumor he has, he is not talking about it but my daughter needs some assurance that he will fully recover. Can you please assist?

Thanks

Hi tersha
one doesn't get a brain tumour from playing rugby. One can get other brain injuries but not tumours.

Most primary brain tumours are pressure type tumours or benign ones.

That means slow growing.

But it is difficult without knowing further details.
