boys and "natural steriods"

What would you do if a teenage boy (12) comes to you for personal training, he heard that there are "natural steriods" on the market that can help you build muscle fast. He wants to know where he can buy them and what does he ask for?

Dear Charlie
I would advise the boy NOT to take ANYTHING while he is still growing as many of these so-called 'natural' products can be harmful and can interfere with normal growth. If he eats a balanced diet and uses a carbo-protein supplement and trains hard, he will develop his muscles without any negative side-effects such as joint damage, etc.
Take care
