I am dating a 45 year old man from Bloemfontein, while I am 35 in Pretoria. We are planning to get married next year March. I will be moving to Bloem after March.

My question is I bought a house, I signed all bond things, my house will be ready end of March. Can I cancell the bond now since I will be moving with him?

As far as I know you cannot pull out once you have the finance approved coz the offer to purchase is a binding document.

It makes sense to let the registration go through and then sell. The market is not very good to sell though at the moment. Maybe wait a bit, rent it out and when the market has improved sell. It' s a buyer' s market at the moment - only desperate sellers are selling.

Not sure you can cancel once the bond has been registered, maybe if not registered you could call the deeds office and stop it, you may lose a few grand, why not just sell it?maybe you could gain extra bucks on it.
