I had blood tests done for a policy. The result for liver function test was 46 u/l. What is the normal reading?. I had blood taken 13h00 the afternoon, does that make a difference to the results. I do have high cholesterol and do take medication.

Hi Moeks
You did not say which of the liver functions was 46 – there are AST, ALT, gamma GT and LD? Cholesterol medication can influence the liver enzyme readings.
